School Council

Our school council consists of a group of pupils elected to represent the views of all pupils regarding whole school matters.

Each class elects two representatives to attend regular school council meetings. In addition classes discuss agenda items prior to school council meetings. The main aim of school council is to further improve our school and ensure that pupils have a voice in our school.

Pupils are actively involved in the decision making process in school. Most recently they have been involved in staff appointment, fund raising and enterprise, improving the school environment, agreeing criteria for ‘Star of the Week’ and agreeing reward systems in school.
