The Polegate Collaborative Partner School is linked to many different ITT providers who we work in close partnership with. We pride ourselves on supporting all student teachers working with our Teaching School through ITT to Leadership.

There are many routes into teaching and we hope that the information you find on this page supports you in your next steps into teaching.

Every Lesson Shapes a Life

We welcome visits from trainee teachers

We welcome visits from trainee teachers and are planning a series of visits throughout the year. These dates will be released shortly. Sessions will include an introductory presentations, a tour of our school and an opportunity for some classroom experience.

Undertaking a short classroom type teaching task and showing an awareness of the curriculum and school life is part of our interview process, so candidates may wish to prepare themselves by spending some time in an appropriate school setting for the subject/phase they intend to teach beforehand.
